Abe Burrus

Abe Bryan Burrus, 60, died Monday, August 19, 2013 in Abilene. His wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Abe was born in Abilene on January 18, 1953 the son of Ulyess Gene Burrus and Gladys Irene Flippin. He graduated from Cooper High School and worked for Binswanger Glass for 23 years. He loved riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his children, Jonathan Burrus and Amy Cowart and husband Chuck all of Abilene grandchildren, Cutter, Tatem and Luke Cowart and Birdie Bell Sisters, Marshelia Decker and Darlene Lester and nieces and nephews, Richard, Jennifer, Stephanie and Jeffrey.
