Adam Delacruz, 38, passed away December 31, 2020. A visitation will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.
Adam was born July 31, 1982 in Abilene, Texas to Pedro Jr. and Sylvia Delacruz. Growing up Adam had a golden glove in boxing, black belt in Karate, and enjoyed playing football. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys with his father and was a very loving and caring son. Adam was always protective of his sisters and was always there when they needed him. He always wanted what was best for everyone and was very determined when he made his mind up. Adam had a charisma about him that was untouchable. He was very loved and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Delacruz; sister, Amanda Delacruz; grandparents, Aurora and Joe Gamez, and Angelica and Pedro Delacruz Sr.; and aunt, Rosa Gamez.
Adam is survived by his dad, Pedro Delacruz Jr.; his two children, Kaleb Cotton, Adam Pedro Delacruz Jr.; his sisters, Angie Delacruz, and Alice Delacruz; and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
