Adam "Yaya" Moa, 50, of Abilene passed away Friday January 9, 2015, in Abilene.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 13 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rolando Figuerias officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 12 from 6-8 PM.
Adam was born on February 25, 1964 to Francisco and Elida Baldivia Moa in Lubbock. He was a graduate of Abilene High School. Adam met SueAnn Alvarez in 1985 and was married on July 14, 2000 in Abilene. They had 30 wonderful years together. Adam worked for Frontier welding for 15 years. He was passionate about fishing, food, fun and family. Adam enjoyed playing Wii with his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Adam is survived by his wife, SueAnn; children, Michelle Sanchez and husband Danny of Irving, Melissa Trevino of Abilene, Melinda Trevino of Abilene, Gavino Trevino and wife Ibon of Abilene; mother, Elida Moa; grandchildren, Gabriella, Justin, Samantha, Lexi, Isabella, Hannah, Angelina and Isaac; siblings, Ester Moa of San Antonio, David Moa and wife Debbie of Potosi, Estella Moa of San Antonio, Eddie Moa of San Antonio, Erma Ramirez and husband Fernando of San Antonio; uncles, Fred Baldivia and Henry Baldivia; aunt, Linda Escobar; 4 nieces; 5 nephews; 3 great nephews; 5 great nieces;.
Adam was preceded in death by his father Francisco Moa.
