Alexander "Alex" Mendoza Jr., 42, passed away on December 23, 2020 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.
Alex was born April 2, 1978 to Alex and Rebecca Mendoza in Abilene, Texas. Alex attended Abilene ISD and graduated from Abilene High in 1996. Alex was quick witted and always happy. His smile was contagious and above all, he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alex Mendoza and uncle, Jack Nieto.
Alex is survived by his mother, Rebecca Mendoza; his son, Zeke Mendoza; his stepson, Caleb Dagenhart; and his sister, Sally Jimenez.
