Alfredo Navejas-Alcala departed from this world on Saturday, January 9th, 2016. He was born August 31, 1986 in Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was brought to Buena, Washington as an infant and later moved to Abilene, TX at the age of 11 and lived the rest of his days there. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Alfredo is survived by his wife, Ramounisha Alcala, who was the love of his life. Together they had three beautiful boys, late Jon Raymond Alcala, Fabian Alfredo Alcala, and Maxx Johnabel Alcala. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fidel & Ramona Alcala of Abilene, TX; 6 siblings; Victor & wife Evelyn Alcala and children Tatiana, Giselle & Neymar, Ana & husband Matt Randolph and their daughter Layla, Abel Alcala, Gustavo Alcala and son Christian, Hector Alcala, and Alfonzo Alcala; sister-in-laws, Roxanne Murillo and her children SkyLynn, Dylan and Houston, & Raydean Mata; brother-in-law John Lopez; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Alfredo will always be remembered for his great smile and laughter. He always knew how to brighten up a room and always had a lending hand for those in need. His hobbies included coaching and watching his sons play various sports from soccer, to baseball, to basketball. He enjoyed hosting cookouts and gathering his family together for outdoor activities. Alfredo will always be remembered for the family man that he was and his great sense of humor.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14th at Elmwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 15th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.
