Alice Mae Finch, 93, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Abilene. Her graveside memorial service was held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, August 6 in the Garden of Faith at Elmwood Memorial Park.
Alice Mae was born on September 25, 1919 in Tipp City, Ohio the daughter of Arthur Judd and Florence Kessler Judd. She was a dedicated homemaker and a faithful servant of God. She had been active as a Methodist Youth Fellowship Sponsor in Ohio and the United Methodist Women in New Mexico. Alice Mae was creative in many ways and never let her age define her, she learned to drive at age 59 after the death of her husband, and learned to use a computer in her 70s. She had been a resident of University Place in Abilene for the last 9 years of her life where she was a good friend to many.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Ludwick and husband Bill, Sally Villers and husband Carlton grandchildren, Lance Villers and wife Debby, Shawna Parmelly and husband Bryan, and Larry and Keith Ludwick great grandchildren, Luke and Connor Villers, and Kess and Kade Parmelly.
Her parents and her husband, Lawrence Ray Finch preceded her in death.
