Alton Lusk

Alton Lusk, 87, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, May 8th, 2018. Funeral services will be Monday, May 14th at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277.
Alton was born March 4, 1931, in Sidney, Texas, to Cliff and Mary Lusk. On July 19, 1951, he married Bobbie Hilliard. They lived in Abilene where he worked for Jones Equipment, Hamilton Supply, and Central Texas Tool.

He and Bobbie were faithful Christians who worshipped at South 14th and Oak church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, working hard, and could fix just about anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bobbie; two sisters, Vista Sledge, and Betty Jones; and his son-in-law, Russ Reddell.

Survivors are a daughter, Sherry Reddell; a son Tracy Lusk, both of Abilene; grandsons, Kevin Reddell and wife Shaylin of Tuttle, Oklahoma; Kyle Reddell and wife Abby of Lubbock; and his first great-grandchild, Emily, born on May 9, 2018 to Kyle and Abby. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Morrison of Abilene, Violet Light of Bryan; and a brother Lee Lusk and wife Betty of Dublin. Other survivors include Dianna Hilliard of Comanche, Bill and Glenda Hilliard of Abilene, and several nieces and nephews.
