Angie Allen

Angie Allen, 46, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Angie was born January 30, 1975 to Ronald and Mary Miles in Bryan, Texas. Her family soon moved to Abilene, Texas which would become her home. In 2002 Angie met Steve Allen and the two were married July 8, 2006. She was a mother of two boys whom she loved and adored. She was also blessed with three step children whom she loved as if they were her own. Angie never met a stranger and shared all the love she felt in her heart. She loved to travel with her family especially to the beach and the mountains. Angie was an amazing cook and she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She had the sweetest smile and a laugh that was contagious. She will be greatly missed as she touched so many lives. The world was lucky to have such an amazing woman and heaven is even luckier to have her now.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Miles; and her grandfather, Arthur Fairey.

Angie is survived by her husband, Steven Allen; her sons, Jared Whitworth and his wife Kate; and Jordan Comer and his wife Rylee; her mother, Mary Miles; her brother, Ronald Miles; her grandmother, Bonnie Fairey; her father and mother in law, Thomas and Hazel Allen; her stepchildren, Charles Allen, Ashly Kemp and her husband Levi, and Brianna McCann; seven grandchildren, Kayden, Gauge, Shavelle, Harlynn, Deklan, Kinleigh and Zoe; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude.
