Angus Harwell

Angus Dewayne Harwell, 79, of Hawley passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 in Hawley.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Angus was born on April 4, 1938 to the late Doc Harwell and Lucy Campbell Harwell. He was a longtime resident of Hawley and a member of Hodges Baptist Church. He worked mowing lawns, picking up cans, doing odd jobs. Angus loved to tell jokes and sing at church. His favorite activity was to play Dart ball.

Angus is survived by his brother, Harvey Harwell and wife Wilma of Waco; sister, Ioma Gaber of Lakewood, Colorado; numerous nephews and nieces and friends.
