Armando Flores, Jr.

Armando C. Flores Jr. passed away Wednesday November 1, 2017. Visitation will be 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 6, 2017 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Armando C Flores Jr,
He was born in Los Angeles on April 17, 1960 to Armando Flores and Emma Aguirre. He had 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Armando was married to Terry Flores for 22 years. He has 6 daughters and 17 grandkids. He was a truck driver for 39 years. He had won driver of the month, safety and 1 million miles for Shaffer Trucking. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys game and drinking a cold miller high life. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, listening to oldies, dancing, building Legos, playing the Wii and board games. Especially having "boy's night" with his grandsons. They would play the Wii and eat popcorn and cookies with milk and everything else they wanted. None of the girls were allowed in the room with them. Armando was a loving family man and a hard worker. He had a long hard fight for 7 years and he fought til his last day and worked till he couldn't any more. He was a hard head at times and very stubborn. He was well loved and will be missed by many.
