Ashley Lynn Jamison, 30, of Abilene,TX, surrounded by family and friends gained her Angel wings on Friday, August 11th after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 15 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 16 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Potosi Cemetery.
Her journey began on December 02, 1986 in Abilene, TX. Ashley married the love of her life Justin Tannor Jamison. Ashley and Justin were blessed with 3 handsome sons, Aidan Gabriel Jamison(13), Braxton Chase Jamison (5) and Cooper Wayne Jamison (3).
Ashley is survived by her father, Lanito "Weddo" Ledesma of Hamlin TX; her mother and step-father, Willie and Belinza "Benji" Kershaw of Abilene TX; two sisters Amanda Matlack and Patrina Gafford; two brothers Kevin (Crissy) Patterson and Justin (Crissy) Stewart; two step brothers, Willie Kershaw III and Corwin Kershaw; and her grandmother, Sarah Ledesma.
She is also survived by her Aunt Kem "momma" of Potosi TX; father and mother in law, Claud and Vikki Rives of Bandera TX; her brother in law, Skylar "Skeeter" Jamison (Becca); sister in law, Brittni Jamison and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and her amazing friends.
Ashley attended Merkel High School and graduated in 2005. Ashley loved being surrounded by family and friends and spending time with her husband and boys.
She loved sitting on the back porch at her inlaws watching the boys fish or floating the river. Ashley was full of life and full of love. Ashley's last wishes were for all of her family and friends whom she called #Aholes to not be sad but to have a party for her and talk about the good times you had with her. She loved us all.
