Beatriz Diaz Guerra Pena passed away February 18, 2018. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 23, 2018 in Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Beatriz was born February 14, 1928 in Gonzalez, Texas and was raised by her grandmother until she married Richard Benito on September 8, 1944. She and Richard raised 5 children Domingo, Richard, Ruth, Louis and Esther "Bonnie" Pena. A strong Christian woman faithful to the church walking with God in harmony ad love, she was admired, respected, and loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Her husband and children, Domingo and Bonnie preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Richard and his wife Gina, Ruth, and Louis and multiple grandchildren and great -grandchildren.
