Bertha Reynolds

Bertha Dean Reynolds, 84, of Abilene passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 2 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel

Bertha was born on October 31, 1934, in Abilene, Texas to the late Monroe Roberts and Jewel Garrett Roberts. She met the love of her life Clyde Reynolds at Abilene Courts in Abilene. They later were married on July 5, 1980 and were blessed with 36 years of marriage until his passing February 17, 2017. Bertha was very loving, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bertha loved watching the game show network, her favorite was family feud, she enjoyed working on word puzzles. Bertha was a Baptist and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Bertha is survived by her children, Will Reynolds and wife Janna of Abilene, Michelle Young and husband Pete of Abilene, Donna Dupree and husband Doug of Abilene, Steve Harris and wife Mindy of Abilene, Ricky Lee Reynolds of Abilene, Ron Reynolds of Washington, Paula King and husband Tom of Fort Worth, Sue Jones of Abilene and Shirley Ford and husband Jerry of Corpus Christi; siblings, J.O. Roberts and wife Bonnie, Carolyn Hamby and husband Lonnie, Jeannie Ramirez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bertha was also preceded in death by her son, Ernest Harris; siblings, Clifford Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Jewel Fox Mangum, Jewel Dean Gray, Louise Isom.
