Bertha Suiter

Bertha Fredonia Suiter, 75, was called home on April.17th, 2015 after a long illness from diabetes and Alzheimer's. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at Northern Oaks Funeral Home.

Bertha was born on September.23rd, 1939 in Abilene, Tx. Known as simply "Bert" to many, and loved by all. Bert was a full time wife, Mother and homemaker. She was a member of Broadview Baptist church.

A celebration of her life will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home on Friday, April 24, with visitation beginning at 10:30 and chapel services at 12:30. Burial will be held at the Veteran's Military Cemetery, with Pastor David Cason officiating.

Bert was proceeded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.M. & Alice Tyler of Potosi. A daughter, Lynette Walker, and 3 brothers, Clarence, JB, and Wayne Tyler.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Boyd Suiter of Abilene, a son, Ray Glaze of Potosi, a daughter and son in law, Todd and Alicea Suiter Pennartz of Breckenridge,Tx. A sister, Mary "Dusty" Black of Ft. Worth and numerous grand children, along with aunts, uncles and cousins. Step children include Gene and Lori Suiter of Henderson, N.V. Jeff and Kathy Suiter of Midland, Tx, Neil and Joni Suiter of Las Vegas, N.V and Tracy and Greg Stahl of Modesto, CA

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be given to the Alzheimer's Association. A special thank you to all of the caregivers at Northern Oaks Nursing Home and Hendrick Hospice Care.
