Elizabeth "Betty" Juarez, 75, of Abilene passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 in Abilene.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 6 at 10:00 AM at True Light Global Ministries, 1164 Minter Lane. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.
Betty was born on July 9, 1940 in San Antonio to the late Manuel and Luz Maldonado Davila. She married Edward Juarez in San Antonio on August 10, 1968. Betty loved her family, and she loved to care for, cook, and support them in every way. She never missed a grandchild's athletic event or concert always cheering them on in their activities. Betty was a member of True Light Global Ministries and had an active faith in church as a teacher and mentor.
Betty is survived by her husband, Edward Juarez; children, Darlene Silva and husband Roy, Dean Juarez and wife Vanessa, Everett Juarez and wife Michelle, Eileen Juarez, Elvin Juarez and wife Marianna; grandchildren, Blake Silva and wife Nancy, Chezelle Juarez, Brandolyn Silva, Christian Juarez, Brooklyn Silva, Caitlin Juarez, Giovanni Juarez, Caileigh Juarez, Caiden Juarez, Axton Juarez; great grandchildren, Landon Silva; sister, Connie Ybarra.
Betty was also preceded in death by brothers, Raul Davila, Fred Davila, Oscar Davila; sister, Emma Ramirez.
