Bettye Musler

Bettye Musler, 87, passed away November 16, 2010, in Arlington. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 19, 2010 at North Park Baptist Church, 1525 Anson Ave, Abilene. Visitation for family and friends is being held from 6:00 7:30 PM Thursday, November 20, 2010 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene.
Bettye was born on March 11, 1923, in Wichita Falls, TX. She met and later married CW Musler in 1941. The couple moved to Abilene and enjoyed 65 of marriage before his passing in 2006.
Bettye was a librarian at Ben Milam Elementary until its closing. For over 35 years, she continued to serve in the Abilene Independent School District as a librarian and a teachers aid until her retirement in 1998. She loved to dance and play golf. She enjoyed playing the piano and was a longtime member of North Park Baptist Church.
Bettye is survived by her children Jim Musler and wife Nina of Hobbs, New Mexico and Donna Lee and husband David of Mansfield, TX her grandchildren Chris Lee Tony Musler Melissa Carmichael Kasey Lee Micah Musler seven great grandchildren one sister Alma Garrison of Tulsa, OK two nieces.
Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
