Beverly Westfall

Beverly Westfall, 68, died Friday, November 19, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, November 21 at Elmwood Funeral Home from 35 p.m.
Beverly was born December, 22, 1941 in Frederick, Oklahoma and moved to Texas at an early age. She graduated from Abilene High where she met and married Ronnie Westfall. They shared 50 glorious years together. She began working at Abilene Christian University in 1981 and retired after 21 years. Beverly was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ and a member of Westgate Church of Christ.
Beverly was a blessing to everyone she encountered. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed making pancakes for them which were shaped like turtles and her pet dog Maggie. Their Coleman Lake house was where hours of fun and recreation were spent with her entire family.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Mildred Carr.
She is survived by her husband Ronnie, daughter Ronda Westfall of Abilene, son Keith and wife Deborah Westfall of Abilene, son Brian and wife Patti Westfall of Lorena, Texas and one sister, Sandra and husband Gene of Tomball, Texas. Grandchildren are Alana and Nathan Westfall of Lorena, Emily and Elizabeth Westfall, Claire and Carlee Westfall all of Abilene. Also, two nephews Todd and Greg Simpson and one niece Julie Prosise. Her faithful 4 legged friend Maggie will miss Beverly dearly.
