Billie Jane Davis, 82, of Abilene passed away on November 28, 2020.
Billie was born in Haskell, Texas on September 3, 1938, to "Skinny" (LT) and Charlene Tidwell. She grew up in Abilene and was a member of the Bible Center then at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. Billie graduated from Abilene High School in 1957 where she met and married the true love of her life Joe E. Davis in 1958. Billie and Joe loved to travel and there was not a state in the US that they had not been to. She loved life to the fullest but the little brought her joy, like sharing a cup of coffee with Joe in the mornings, playing and winning at 42, watching the Masters, and of course winning many bets against her boys.
Billie was blessed with three boys David and partner Michael Faircloth, Joe Bob and wife Jeannine, Bo and wife Laura. She was their MOM and she carried that title like no other MOM could. Billie was and will always be a guiding light for them. She was the CEO of the household. Billie was also blessed with five grandchildren; Kylie Nelson and husband Luke, Maddie Wood and husband Cody, Jake Davis, Maci Reyes and Spencer, and Gus Davis. Billie had five great-grandchildren and one on the way; Crew and Sutton Nelson, Quinn, Mac and Tom Wood. She was best known to them as THE BEEBS.
Billie has two sisters whom she loved very much and visited with them on a daily basis, Karen and husband Bill Pierce and Judy and husband Chuck Eakins. She had many nieces and nephews.
Billie went to heaven joining her mom and dad in celebration.
