Billie Milner

Billie Pearl Holmes Milner, 73, of Abilene, Texas passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, Texas 79606. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Billie was born on October 10, 1947 in Breckenridge, Texas to the late James L. Holmes and Johnnie Pearl Weaver. She worked at Bible Hardware for 24 years until her retirement in 2018. She also was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Tuscola. Billie was known for her ornery sense of humor and a sweet smile. She enjoyed reading and watching her favorite T.V. shows. She had a green thumb and a soft heart for animals. Billie loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.

Billie was also preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Jay Milner.

Billie is survived by her children, Danny Milner and wife Michelle, Lavonna Balo and husband Dale, Chareila Bien and husband Gary; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Weston, DJ, Justin, Allison, Jacky, Tana, Lauren, and Kasey; 14 great grandchildren; her three sisters, Margie West, Pat Bingham and Lou Faulks; her very special friend Al Alexandre; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and her dog Bella.

Those to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Bien, Weston Bien, DJ Milner, Justin Schumacher, Kasey Jay, Blake Ingram, OC McKeehan and Clinton McKeehan.
