Billy Louis

Billy Louis went to be with His Lord and Savior, Saturday, March 17, 2018. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Billy was born March 5, 1956 in Rule, Texas to Robert and Jewell Louis. He and his family moved to Abilene when he was in 7th grade and he graduated from Cooper High School. Billy played football for Cooper High School and McMurray University. Billy married the love of his life Kathy on August 11, 1982 but the first love of his life was the Lord and he lived a very God fearing life. He enjoyed crafts, painting, remodeling, oil painting, and writing beautiful poetry. Above all this he loved his family and was a devoted, husband, dad, and grandpa. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruby Louis; and two brothers, Robert Louis, and Grady Louis.

Billy is survived by his wife, Kathy Louis; his daughter, Krystal Louis and her fiance Caleb Price; granddaughter, Tracee Louis; two brother in laws, Don Minor and wife Lena, and Jimmy Minor and wife Susa; four brothers, Tommy, Richard, David, and Michael; three sisters, Jackki, Linda, and Kathryn; two sister in laws, Judy and Shirley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
