Blanca I. Marchante, 88, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Abilene.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Blanca was born on July 10, 1926 in El Salvador to the late Oscar Antonio Chicas and Maria Teresa Villalta. She loved to travel, sewing and cooking. Blanca was raised in the Catholic Church and also enjoyed Christian faith and fellowship in the non-denominational church. Prior to retirement Blanca worked as a Chef and was known as an exceptional cook. Blanca will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Blanca is survived by her son, Julio C. Ceron and wife Sylvia; daughter, Ana T. Ceron; 4 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 5 great grandsons; 4 great granddaughters; brother, Juan A. Villalta; sister, Elsy Guerrero.
