Bobbie Darlene Jones, 74, of Abilene passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Darlene was born on April 16, 1948, in Wichita Falls, TX to the late J.W. Pemberton and Sally Monett Rogers. She married the love of her life Richard Jones on November 27, 1970. Darlene was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, watching classic movies and was a very talented seamstress. Darlene loved music, singing and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she participated in choir and bell ringer chorus. Darlene was an avid collector od Bells and Angels.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Jones; daughter, Christina Kitchell and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Zachariah Kitchell and Jacob Kitchell; brother Larry J. Pemberton; numerous extended family and dear friends.
