SUE TEAL REGEON AND BOBBY GLENN REGEON



Sue Teal Regeon, age 79, of Sunnyvale, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019, after a long illness.

Sue was born March 18, 1933, in Taylor County, Texas, to A. J. Teal and Lola Mae Dotson Teal. She graduated from Anson High School. Sue worked in the banking community her whole life, retiring from Comerica Bank in Garland, Texas. She enjoyed creating ceramics, painting her husband's wood creations, and collecting various items.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her cousins Joyce Turner and husband David of Sulfer, OK; Nancy Tubbs and Donna McCraw both of Oklahoma City, OK.

On July 26, 1957, Sue Teal married Bobby Regeon. Together they attended Sunnyvale Baptist Church the last twenty-nine years.

Bobby Glenn Regeon, age 85, of Sunnyvale, Texas, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019, after a short illness.

Bobby was born July 6, 1933, in Hawley, Texas, to James Otto Regeon and Mae Adams Regeon. He graduated from Hawley High School and attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Bobby enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 and did his basic training at Ft. Hood, Texas. He became a photographer and lab tech while stationed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, and served in the Korean Conflict. He was discharged in 1957 as a Staff Sargent.

Bobby was hardware buyer for Gibson Wholesale Company for many years and retired from Shepler's Boot Company. He continued to enjoyed photography, hunting, and word crafting.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; J. B. Regeon and L. D. Regeon and his sister-in-law, Minnie Isbell Regeon.

Bobby was survived by nieces and nephews; especially his niece, June Regeon Hodgin and husband Garry Hodgin of Abilene, Texas, and their children Tiffany Hodgin Cook and husband Brad and Alison Hodgin Sims and husband Jon Michael; and his nephew, Billy Don Regeon, of Abilene.


A graveside service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson.
