Brenda Gotch

Brenda Jo Whitus-Gotch, 66, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Abilene.

Graveside service will be held Friday, October 16 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Brenda was born on February 21, 1949 in Abilene, TX to the late Harmon R Whitus and Clarice Irene Whitus. She was married to David Gotch, who will miss her dearly. Brenda loved apples (she has SO many collectibles), the color purple, country western music, dogs (especially puppies), eagles, football (especially the Dallas Cowboys, and the Eagles of Abilene High School), Gospel music (especially the Gaithers), Hallmark cards & movies on TV, owls (she has tons of collectibles, including one owl that David gave her on their second date), and - THEIR favorite birds - BUDGIES (parakeets).

She was proceeded in death by her parents Harmon and Clarice Whitus, her sisters Madie Lee, Shirley Beeks, Betty Whitus, Billie Joyce Whitus and Linda Kaye Whitus.

She is survived by her husband David Gotch, her daughter Gillian Fitzgerald, her son Gary Krewson and wife Capella and their children Mason and Maia Krewson, her sisters Irene Whitus-Turner, Frances Pruitt, Maudine Thackerson, Laura Whitus and her brother Daniel Whitus.
