Brenda Faye Holloway, 68, our beloved mother, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2020 at her place of residence in Arlington, Tx.
A public graveside burial will be held on Wednesday May 13th, 2020, at 11:00 am at City Cemetery, North 10th and Treadaway, Cedar Hill Flat Section . Due to restrictions in place because of the COVID-19 virus, service attendance will be limited. If you would like to attend the graveside service, we ask that you remain inside your vehicle once in the cemetery and tune your radio to 105.7 FM for the funeral broadcast. The family appreciates your attendance but wants everyone to be safe during this time.
Brenda was born April 17, 1952 in Temple, TX, to Louis and Pervennia Jones. Brenda spent most of her life working as a entrepreneur owning two businesses “Hair Connection” and “Light House Arcade Room”. She later retired and then moved to Arlington, Tx to be closer to her children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching romantic movies, listening to gospel music, and arts & craft. She enjoyed ministry and spreading the gospel.
She is survived by her mother Pervennia Jones, loving children, daughter Caprice Bell ; son Tinaka Bell and daughter-in-law Shelia Barnes ; daughter Latrice Hampton and son-in-law Chris Hampton. sister Linda Holloway; sister Lovie Jones; sister Dovie Jones ; brother John Jones and wife Jann Jones; sister Twana Jones; sister Ruthie Ibarra and husband Ricardo Ibarra; sister Karen Woods; sister Fannie Taylor; sister Mary Jones & And grandchildren Donnica Scott and grandson in-law Marshal Scott ; Davon Bell, Precious Bell, Christopher Hampton II, Jaylon Hampton, Gabriel Hampton and one great grandson D’Mari Scott.
She is preceded in death by her father Louis Jones, her sister Margaret Jones, and sister Flora Anderson.
