Burnice Mccomas

Burnice June McComas, 83, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Abilene.

Ms. McComas was born on August 11, 1924 in Young County the daughter of Floyd McComas Sr. and Lena Humble McComas. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1943 and was a working partner in the McComas Ranch all of her life. She was a faithful and active member of the Abilene Bible Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.

Survivors include her nephew, Ken McComas and wife Pam of Abilene; two nieces, Sharon McCormick of Frisco and Barbara Williams and husband Jim Smith of Ft. Worth; six great nieces and nephews and three great- great nieces and nephews.

Her parents and two brothers, George Wesley McComas and Floyd McComas Jr. preceded her in death.
