Buster Davidson

Buster Davidson, 76, loving father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his home in Clyde. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28th in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with burial following in the Hamby Cemetery. Visitation is from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Buster was born on December 9, 1934 in Roscoe the son of Tom Davidson and Beatrice Shaddix Davidson. He graduated from Sweetwater High School and attended HardinSimmons University before enlisting in the U.S. Army where he served our country for four years. He married Ouida Nell Davidson on March 13, 1959. In 1966 they moved to Midland where Buster spent 20 years with the Midland Fire Department and operated Custom Groom Lawn Service for many years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include four children, Buster Davidson Jr. and wife Barbara, Denise Davidson, Kevin Davidson and wife Amanda and Shawna Maddux and husband Reggie all of Clyde a sister, Pricilla Davis of Odessa 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

His loving wife, a sister, Darlene Reynolds and his daughter, Renee Price preceded him in death.
