Carla Christeson

Carla Jo Christeson, 65, passed way Tuesday, May 9th, 2017. She was born in Amarillo on December 20th, 1951 and was the daughter of Doris Jean Pence and Billy Jo Greenhaw. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1970, and worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas for 20 years. She was a table-top roleplayer, and an online multiplayer gamer.

Carla was preceded in death by her son, Mark David Christeson on March 25th, 1975; her mother, Doris Jean Greenhaw on May 9th, 2001; and her father, Billy Jo Greenhaw in January 13, 2013.

She is survived by her brother, David Allen Greenhaw of San Angelo; two sons, Gary David Christeson of Abilene and Robert Carl Christeson of Abilene; and two grandchildren, Alec Scott Christeson and Thea Jean Christeson.

A funeral service is being held at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Highway 277 South, officiated by Gary Hartley, at 10:00 am, Monday, May 15th, 2017. Following the service, she will be buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.

Brody Beck, Chris Komorowski, David Jarrett, Jeremy Wood are serving as pallbearers.
