Carol Saia

Carol Saia, 74, of Abilene passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. Visitation will be 9:00 - 10:30 AM Monday, September 25, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM, Monday, September 25, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap Rd. Interment will be 2:00PM at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene, 7457 W Lake Rd.

Carol was born December 11, 1942. She was very active in the community and a loving friend to everyone she knew. Above all she loved her family with all her heart. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Gaytan Saia; and her father, Norman Walker.

She is survived by her mother, Vivian Preston Portzen; three sons, Anthony Lally and wife Mary, Thomas Lally and wife Kathy, Timothy Lally and wife Monica; three stepchildren, Gaytan Saia Jr. and wife Jeannette, James Saia and wife Amy, Kitty Gelberd and husband Morton; two sisters, Shari Henderson, Lori Gallagher and several grandchildren.
