Carolyn Allen

Carolyn Faye Allen passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday October 5, 2018 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday October 6, 2018 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel with James Moore officiating. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park. Following the services family and friends are welcomed to fellowship at Faith Deliverance , Hwy 277 South Abilene, Texas.

Carolyn was born October 9, 1952 to Robert and Faye Pennye in Abilene, Texas. She was known for her loving, kind, and gracious heart. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed hosting family dinners. She enjoyed having things organized and was a very outspoken person but yet private as well. Above all she loved her family dearly. She will be thoroughly missed and forever in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Faye Pennye; and one brother, Benny Pennye.

Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Puritha Cahill and husband Kevin, and Aricka James; five grandchildren, Brandon James, Ashton James, Jasmine James, Briana Cahill, and Clarissa Cahill; five siblings, Bobby Pennye, Linda Pennye, Debbie Pennye, Gail Busby, and Phyllis King; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
