Carolyn Reeves

Carolyn Carlton Reeves, 85, of Abilene, passed away Saturday May 13, 2017. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Carolyn, daughter of Emmitt and Lanora Wallace, was born in Munday, Texas, on February 10, 1932. She worked in Cosmetology and was a part of the community in Abilene for 26 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Reeves; husband, Robert Neil Hale; son, Gary Lee Hale; and granddaughter, Carolyn Elizabeth Hale.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Hale; three granddaughters, Donna Lanfry, Marcie Tomlinson, Leslie Willis; daughter in law, Marsha Hale Royse; three sisters, Pat Arledge and husband Jack, Fonda Mayo and husband Buddy, and Betty Polk; nine great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
