Celia Johnson

Celia Francisca Johnson, 87, of Abilene passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Abilene.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap, Abilene, TX., 79606. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM and the rosary will be from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX.
Celia was born on March 5, 1934 in Sweetwater, TX, to the late Manuel Robledo and Pilar Villa. She married Terry Johnson on August 15, 1963 in Abilene, TX and were blessed with 35 years of marriage until his passing on November 10, 1998. Celia was a hard worker and wonderful homemaker. She loved to travel on religious pilgrimages and enjoyed spending time at the Senior center and line dancing. Celia was known as a warm and giving person and a woman of deep faith and prayer. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Celia is survived by her children, Mike Johnson and wife Kristen of McKinney, Jeanette Vincent of Abilene; grandchildren, Ryan Baker of Nebraska, Jon Baker of Abilene and Nathan Vincent of Abilene; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Celia was also preceded in death by a brother, Lucio Esparza; sister, Mary Gonzales; brother, Cecil Villa.
