Cevera Morales

Cevera Morales, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in her home and while we have lost the family matriarch, Heaven rejoices by welcoming her home. She was born on November 8, 1939 in Coahuila, Mexico to Julio and Catalina Castillo. She was the fourth child of nine children- Jose, Tomasa, Luz, Eva, Alicia, Berta, Genaro and Maria. She was a faithful, dedicated and strong mother, as well as a sister, daughter, grandmother and friend to all that loved her. Above all things, Cevera loved the Lord with all her heart, serving in the church and helping those in need. She was a member of New Life Temple for over thirty-five years. She was an extremely accomplished seamstress and floral arrangement designer who loved teaching back the same skills to her daughters, grand-daughters and many others who wanted to learn. She loved shopping for fabric, sewing, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and loved telling stories of her youth, reliving her time with her parents, brothers and sisters. Cevera is survived by her children, Diana Morales, Ana Avila, Julio Morales, Juana Gonzalez, Lupe Figueiras, Mac Morales, Marco Quo De Rosa, Maria Haili, Juan Morales and Maritza Morales, in addition to seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Morales; sister, Alicia; brother, Jose; daughter, Marvaviola and grandson Jacob.

The time of gathering is on Friday, November 29th at 10:30 AM for viewing, chapel service at 12:00 PM and burial at 1:00 PM.
