Charles Collins

Charles W. Charlie Collins, 36, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Highland, Illinois.

Charles was born March 2, 1978 to the late Charles F. and Katherine L. Collins in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Cooper High School and made his way to Highland, Illinois where he became an assistant manager at WalMart. He met Sabrina R. Halbert in Highland and they were married in 2009. Charles enjoyed making people laugh and loved spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by many people.

Survivors include his wife Sabrina R. Collins sisters, Vicky McCall and husband Gary of Buffalo Gap, Texas, Pam Hughes and husband Doug of Abilene, Texas, Rose Cahill and husband Michael Wawee of Abilene, Texas mother and fatherinlaw, Linda K. and Randal Halbert of Greenville, Illinois sisterinlaw, Misty D. Halbert of Highland, Illinois grandparent inlaw, Janice K. Ethertone of Granite City, Illinois close friend Mathew Hall of Abilene, Texas many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
