Charles Ranne

Charles Henry Ranne, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday at the Eula Cemetery under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Charlie was born in Brady on August 28, 1929 the son of Joseph Ranne and Ola Laura Beasley Ranne. He retired from Merchant Motor Freight and was a farmer and rancher in Callahan County. He was a member of the HWY 36 Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Faye LeMay Ranne of Clyde three sisters, Marge Langford, Loys Dowdy and Bessie Saverign and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
