Charles Scheible

Charles Buddy Scheible, 60, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2007 at a local hospital.

A visitation for his friends has been changed to 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2007 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Buddy was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 3, 1946 to Charles Carl Scheible and Virginia Calvery Scheible.

He worked as a roustabout in the oilfield for many years. He has lived in the Abilene community for the last 12 years. Buddy loved old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies, country and western music and to race his 1957 Chevy radio-control car.

He is survived by his mom, Virginia Scheible of Odessa; three brothers and sister-in-laws, Kenneth and Pat Scheible of Odessa, Fred and Mitzi Scheible of Odessa and Glen and Libbie Scheible of Austin; four sisters, Sharon Duckworth of Odessa, Gayle and brother-in-law Barney Howard of San Marcos, Neta Scheible and Amy Kruse of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Scheible.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donors choice.
