Christopher Gutierrez

Christopher Pete Gutierrez, 45, passed away Sunday. A memorial service will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Christopher was born February 19, 1974 to Freddy and Anita Gutierrez in Big Spring, Texas. He met the love of his life Ellen and the two were married September 22, 1995. Chris had a wonderful sense of humor and could always be found bringing laughter and smiles to all that knew him. He was known to make up dances and perform them anywhere he pleased. Chris was a foodie, a racket ball player and life of the party. Above all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandson. To know Christopher was to love Christopher. He will be in our hearts forever.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Gutierrez; and his grandmother, Anita Ramirez.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Ellen Gutierrez; his children, Alex Gutierrez, Bella Gutierrez (Brandon), Andrew Gutierrez; one grandchild, Carter Lee Garza; his parents, Freddy and Anita Gutierrez; siblings, Ann Raigosa (Steve), and Patrick Gutierrez; his aunts, Lydia, and Betty; his nieces and nephews, Anthony (Nicholas), Jonathan, Dezarae, Autumn, Zachary, Diego, Alecia, and Mia; his cousin, Michael Mendoza, brother in law, Bill Phipps; a special friend, Jody Murillo; and many friends.
