Clarence Saferight

Clarence Saferight, 79, passed away Friday June 2, 2017. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, S. Highway 277 Anson, TX. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Clarence was born December 14, 1937 in Wytheville Virginia. He married the love of his life Sylvia Martin on December 31, 1957. Clarence was a long time residence of Abilene and Anson, TX. He was a Christian man and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed wood working and yard work. He was a wonderful husband, father and papaw. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Saferight; three children, Teresa, Donna and Robert; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
