Consuelo Castillo

Consuelo Castillo passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 26, 2018. She was born on April 4, 1928 in Cuencame Durango, Mexico. to Ezequiel & Dolores Mireles. She graduated with a college degree in Torreon, Coahuila, as a school teacher. She later married her college sweetheart Rodrigo Castillo in August 1951. They moved to the United States in 1956, where they had 7 children.
Elizabeth Riojas her husband Robert, Leticia ""Kelly" Buxton her husband Chester, Consuelo "Shelly" Herrera her husband Ben, Alpha Castillo, Omega Arredondo her husband Simon, Rodrigo F. Castillo his wife Martha, Julie Vasquez her husband Miguel. She has 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Ambler Baptist Church, 2150 Park Ave. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Memorial Park.
