Corby Andrews

Corby S Andrews, 44, went home on Friday, July 1, 2016 at his home. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6th at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Callahan County, TX.

Corby was born December 16, 1971 in Abilene, TX where he grew up and graduated from Cooper High School in 1990. After high school he began a career as a truck driver. In 2009 he moved back near to his parents to help care for them.
Corby had a very generous heart and a passion for family and animals. He enjoyed life and spending time fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his mother, Verna Calhoun; sister, Melody Russell and husband Billy of Springfield, MO; grandmother, Fannie May Thomas of Desoto, TX; two aunts, Belva Ann Cleveland and husband Jerry of Desoto, TX, and Glenda Ruth Washburn and husband Lewis of Hawley, TX; one nephew, Devon Russell of Springfield, MO; and numerous cousins.

Corby was preceded in death by his dad, Wade Calhoun; and sister, Jeannie Calhoun; grandfather, Claude Thomas Sr.; two uncles, Sam Thomas and Claude Thomas Jr.

The family suggest memorial donations in Corby's memory to the Abilene Animal Shelter or the Taylor Jones Humane Society.
