Curtis Walker

Curtis E. Walker, Jr. passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2013 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home.

Curtis was born May 13, 1944 to Tip and Mildred Walker. After serving in the United States Air Force, Curtis joined the Midland Police Department. In 1976, Curtis moved to Benbrook, TX and joined the Benbrook Police Department, retiring in April, 1993. Curtis graduated from the FBI Academy in 1980, was a Golden Glove boxer and was a Master Mason with the Julian Field Lodge 908, CarVettes Division.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Naomi Winters.

He is survived by one sister, Jean Jones nieces, Debbie Tindall and husband Jimmy, Shelley Jernigan and husband Mark of Friendswood, TX, DAnn Giddings and husband Robert, Karla McNally and Stephanie Jones.
