Dale Clark

Dale Clark, 61, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Abilene. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 1st in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with interment following in Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Dale was born in Baird on February 21, 1952 the son of Joe Allen Clark and Jessie Rankin Burton Clark. He graduated from Abilene High School and Suma Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University. He had worked at General Tire in Abilene for the past 28 years. Dale enjoyed cruising in his 1977 Corvette and collecting model Corvettes.

Survivors include his brother, Kenneth Clark and wife Brenda of Abilene his nephews, Scottie Clark and wife Amy of Abilene and David Wayne Clark of Lubbock and numerous cousins.

His parents and a nephew, Tommie Clark preceded him in death.
