Dana Flores

Dana Sue Goodman Flores, 52, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 23rd in the Garden of Ten Commandments at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Dana was born on June 14, 1960 in Stamford where she grew up and attended high school. She moved to Abilene in 1982 and married Adam Flores on May 4, 1984. She worked for several years as an admissions clerk at Abilene Regional and was a homemaker. Dana loved meeting new people, traveling in the RV, fishing, singing with her husband and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years Adam her father, Olan Goodman her brothers, Donald Goodman, David Goodman and wife Kathy and Jerry Goodman and wife Paulette her sister, Jamye Poe and husband Jeff many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Her mother Bobby Nell Samuels Goodman preceded her in death.
