Danny Daniel

Danny Daniel, 65, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Abilene. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 24th at New Life Temple Assembly of God, 2442 Old Anson Rd in Abilene. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Danny was born on January 20, 1945 in Abilene the son of Fructoso Daniel and Aurora Juarez Daniel. He grew up in Abilene and worked as a custodian at Cooper High School and Woodson Head Start for many years. Danny was a very active member of New Life Temple Assembly of God Church where he fulfilled his love of talking to and loving people by serving as an usher and greeter. He was a member of the gospel band Samaritans.

Survivors include three brothers, John, Eliseo and Noel Daniel four sisters, Ruth Guerrero, Lidia Gonzalez, Esther Gomez and Becky Silguero and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents and two brothers, Camilo and David Daniel preceded him in death.
