David Fancher

David Thomas Fancher, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 24th at Trinity Baptist Church, 871 Woodlawn Drive with interment following in Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

David was born in Abilene on July 3, 1952 and graduated from Abilene High School in 1970. He worked for Merchants Freight Line for 27 years and was currently employed with YRC Freight. He enjoyed building model airplanes and helicopters, woodworking and was a gourmet chef.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Fancher of Newark, Texas his children, Melody Grabeel and husband Bobby, David G. Fancher and wife Amy, Adam Fancher, Miranda Fancher, Matthew Davis, Misti Wright and husband Tim, Mark Davis and wife Ashlee, Tina Trojacek and husband Ernest and Roger Davis 19 grandchildren one sister, Debra Kay Goldsworthy and husband Al and his dog, Boo.
