David Iii Jr.

October 30, 1966 — June 20, 2011

David Moreno Jr. III, 44, loving son, brother, father and friend, died Monday, June 20, 2011 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 24, 2011 in the Garden of Peace at Elmwood Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

David was born in Abilene on October 30, 1966 the son of David Moreno Jr. and Adelaida Salazar Moreno. He graduated from Abilene High School and worked a short time for the City of Abilene before becoming disabled. David was full of life he had a good sense of humor and was always joking around with everyone and making people laugh. He was always there to help anyone who needed it and always did the best he could with what he had. He enjoyed cooking out, hanging out with family and friends and was an avid collector of model trains.

Survivors include his Mother, Adela Moreno of Abilene children, David Moreno IV, Michael Harris, Stephen, Jessie and Jacob Moreno two brothers, Richard Lee Moreno and wife Kim of South Carolina, and Michael Ray Moreno and wife Taylor of Abilene one sister, Victoria Wilcox of Abilene and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A special account has been set up in Davids name at Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union. Any donations to help with final expenses would be greatly appreciated.
