Delbert Pimpton

Delbert "BoJangles" Pimpton, 64, of Abilene has gone home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Abilene.

A celebration will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 US HWY 277 S. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.

Delbert was born on May 11, 1954 to T.J. Pimpton and Bertha Bigham Pimpton in Abilene, TX. Delbert was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger. He was always concern for his family and friends. He was retired from Independent Grocery. He also worked for Abilene Independent school District and Means Bakery.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters.

Delbert is survived by his siblings, Betty McCray, Rueben Pimpton (Yolanda), Jaunice Jackson (Willie), and Vanessa Pimpton; Special frined, Jackie Hines, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
