Deloris Jones

Deloris Hayes Jones, 81, passed away February 15, 2012, in Abilene. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 520 Stafford St. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Deloris was born on May 1, 1930, in Dallas, TX. She enjoyed cooking and hosting gettogethers for her family and friends, where many games of cards were played. She retired after 27 years from G V Daniels recreation center in Abilene. She was a member of Aristocrats Professional business Womens Club, and she served honorably as an Usher at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Deloris is survived by her children: James Frazier and wife Melva, Kevin Barnes, Annette Barnes, Gregory Barnes and wife Linda, Sharon King grandchildren: Larry Stuart JR, Anthony Stuart, Shannon Stuart, James Frazier II, James Frazier III, Charmaine Frazier, Tiffanii Barnes, Sherita Davis, Charelle Finley, Gregory Barnes JR, Sheneika Barnes, Taffanii Barnes, Mikah Barnes, Donald Barnes, Kevin Barnes JR, Kenyon Barnes, Kelsey Barnes, Kahla Barnes, Keniz Tutt, Kennedy Barnes, Tykesha Barnes, Tiarra Barnes, Kylan Barnes, Tayla Barnes 20 great grandchildren and one brother, Robert Sewell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Connie Jones her parents, Oscar and Sarah Hayes, and Erma Turner
