Don Block

Donald “Don” Edward Block, 65, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.

Don had many passions, especially things made with his hands. An avid photographer, maker of model planes, amazing home chef, model train enthusiast, and fixing whatever broke. He was an overall awesome and cool guy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Block and wife, Lisa Block.

Don is survived by his father, Samuel Kenneth Block; daughters, Misty Jackson and husband Glenn, Tiffany Conder and husband Micah, Chelsea Block-Howard and fiancé Christopher Garcia; stepson, Khristopher West; grandchildren, Brendan, Ethan and Talen; sister, Deborah Stephenson and husband Gary; nephew David Stephenson and wife Lindsay, their children Piper, Lainey, and Amelia; niece Stephanie Moncla and husband Aaron, their children Blake and Bryson.
