Dr. Luella Faye Taylor, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Coleman County surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be held on a later date at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Monday, June 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Luella was born on March 2, 1925 in Mineral Wells to the late Travis Earl Findley and Tommey Faye Moss Findley. She was an extraordinary woman whose dignity and tenacity were proven by her personal and professional success. She provided a loving home to her family and was an educator for children with special needs in both the Dallas and Allen Independent School Districts.

Luella is survived by her children, Sherri Probst Kaye Wade, Carola Phillips, Lisa Simmons, and Earl Donnell, 15 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Travis Findley Jr., and her grandson, Travis Donnell.
